bracket[net] is my personal domain, making this my personal website (made fresh when you order it).
To stake a little piece of cyberspace for myself. It's mainly for my friends and family to check on me and see my photos of them.
The name is not vulgar or trendy, and is sufficiently enigmatic to make a memorable domain name. The cosmogony is not a terribly interesting story, but if you need to know, ask me in person. Otherwise, just trust that it's a family joke that is entertaining only to me.
Well, I like brackets (though braces { } are my favorite). They are used to access array elements (though I prefer linked lists and hash maps). They are nice and square (although I like curvy things too). I guess I don't know how to answer this question.
I care deeply about Web standards. I try very hard to keep my site in compliance with key Web standards. My site is written entirely in XHTML and CSS. I'm happy to report that bracket[net] does not violate Section 508. I hope to be fully compliant in the near future.
